While reading the Local section of the Morning Call (Sunday, July 30th) I found a story of a very dedicated Eagles' fan. He's been at camp everyday ever since the Eagles began practicing a decade ago.
" Gilds, a 58-year-old Easton man with diabetes, fell into a diabetic coma before Wednesday's morning session. An ambulance rushed him to St. Luke's Hospital . . . He was back on the field - with his prosthetic right leg and walker - by the afternoon session. . . . "" If I'm conscious, I don't miss camp."" That may sound like a one-liner, but it's no joke. Wednesday was the second time an unconcsious Gilds was hauled from camp by ambulance."
That's what I call dedication!
